Car Dealers: Weird Trivia
December 28, 2010 by amabq · Leave a Comment
One of probably the most valuable abilities that folks can take with them as they get older is becoming able to outwit a vehicle dealer, which is beat the most cut throat bargainers at their own game.
The 1st is to take so long as possible, since vehicle sales people get paid usually from commission the longer you take the more desperate they turn out to be to obtain you off the lot. Once you get their business enterprise card make certain that you usually request the exact same salesman in order that you’re literally wasting his time until it becomes less expensive for him if he basically provides you a good deal. This might be achieved in a few ways, mainly in the event you leave and come back often; remember you need to always try and make it appear like you are attempting to do him or her a favor by hinting that “you need to preserve working with him to ensure that a person else doesn’t get his commission” etc… so he stays hungry, thinks that you are serious, and doesn’t wish to give up on you.
All people who invest to obtain cars, are rather concerned concerning the maintenance of their cars. Most of the people today make their procurement of the cars by means of the dealers.
Next you need to attempt to know every little thing that they know, fully grasp how their loans work and how they are going to try to obtain you to finance the vehicle in order that they can’t pull a quick one over you.
Since the auto dealers give extra variety, possibilities and both the new along with the old cars of the several value ranges, it is impossible that one is not able to obtain a vehicle of their preference when opting to buy one by way of the auto dealers. But, this dealing has to be secured and incredibly careful as men and women who acquire from the auto dealers normally get scammed. Search through the magazines plus the associated web pages to identify the reputed dealers within the city or its vicinity.
Third, act like you know nothing you will need to be the unknowing unsuspecting driver who is just coincidently generating all of the appropriate moves to lower the cost of the vehicle. Usually do not let them get the “high penny” if something price 40099.99 you can fairly considerably guarantee that they’re making use of that extra 99.99 to raise them to the next tier of commission so for those who can maintain them from getting it you’ll be able to frequently get the value to go even lower. Negotiate hard, but do not lose focus on the larger issues to one thing that charges a number of pennies compared to the other areas where you might force a far better deal.
Seventh figure out what the factory incentives are for the dealer and try to save income by shaving off cost without taking away too much of that incentive.

The Problem With Gas Mileage Improvement Is?
January 17, 2009 by amabq · Leave a Comment
Now that gas is almost three dollars or more a gallon, people will do anything to see some gas mileage improvement when they drive long ways from home. However, it is starting to hurt just driving back and forth to work as well. When gas prices go up, people stay home more and that means a loss for the travel industry and hotels. Along the same lines, people have to pay more for services that rely on gas like air travel and bus travel. Until the prices go down, if they ever do, you have to do a few things to save money.
The problem with gas mileage improvement is that there is not much you can do to save money other than stay home or carpool. You can keep your engine in top shape, and make sure all filters are clean and clear, but the difference is not going to add up to much. Some suggest that turning off the air conditioning and rolling down the windows will help with gas mileage improvement, but some think that having the windows down creates more resistance to the wind, and that means more gas is needed to travel at the same speed as usual.
You might want to skip the small things you can do to see gas mileage improvement, and go for the larger things that will show and immediate affect in your wallet. This means that you have to find a new way to get to work. You should find someone to ride to work with, and you can take turns driving and/or paying for gas. If you can get more than two people in on the deal, you are going to save more money. You could also ride a bike to work, but that is not always possible or reasonable for everyone.
Some are saying that gas prices are not high enough to effect true gas mileage improvement. They say that prices must get higher in order for people to make real changes and to become less reliant on gas. I can see the logic behind this, but I don’t think that is something that is fair for most people. The main problem with the gas mileage improvement is that there really is not very much you can do to save money other than to stay home and/or carpool. It would only serve to hurt those who are not wealthy and destroy the economy.
Want To Find Out More About The Best Gas Mileage SUVs?

SUV fuel economy is not exactly legendary. A matter of fact, SUVs are known far and wide as some of the biggest gas guzzlers that are. So when one of my friends announced that he was looking for the best gas mileage SUV rating, I was a little bit surprised. It didn’t really make any sense. If you’re going to buy an SUV, you giving the world a certain message: luxury matters to me much more than efficiency. Of course there are certain SUV companies such as Subaru which specifically market to hippies and other supposedly environmentally conscious folks, but even these are not known for being tremendously energy-efficient. If you are going to buy an SUV, you are giving the world a certain message: luxury matters more to me than just plain efficiency. I wanted to find out more about the best gas mileage SUVs.
The real problem is that the category SUV is pretty flexible. Although they are supposed to be rugged vehicles equipped for off-road driving, the reality is much different. Many of them are simply status symbols for people who like to show off. They are roomy inside, high above the ground, and big enough so that if they get in crashes, the other car takes the worst of it. That isn’t to say that SUVs are safe. Even the best gas mileage SUV won’t save you from a rollover crash, and that can be fatal. Nowadays, many of the design flaws inherent in sport utility vehicles are being corrected, but I still wouldn’t trust one with my life without doing a lot of research.
The biggest problem with this project, of course, was coming up with a definition for what an SUV is. A car like the Saturn Outlook, for example, might be considered an SUV but might not. Would a crossover car qualify for the best gas mileage SUV? It is pretty hard to tell, and my friend couldn’t decide.
In a lot of ways his whole project was a waste of time. It did have one good effect, however. Researching the best gas mileage SUV really got him thinking. For the amount of money that he could spend buying a new SUV, he could get something that was really fuel-efficient such as a Honda hybrid car. He came to realize that he didn’t really need an SUV. He didn’t have much to carry around, and he didn’t go off-road very often. Instead, he invested his money in a fuel-efficient car. It might not be as big and overbearing, but it is a better investment in the long term.
Why is it so Important to Have a New Car?
January 10, 2009 by amabq · Leave a Comment
We are in the midst of a full blown credit crunch, yet people are still wanting to have the most extravagant new cars under there belts. No matter how poor people are they still love to splash out on a new vehicle.
Let’s have a look at a few reasons why people love cars so much and why they have to make themselves struggle to drive in luxury.
Social Pressure
This is probably one of the main reasons why people are buying brand new cars. What is worse than going out in an old banger and then seeing your friends or a family member driving a top of the range vehicle. People do not want other people to see that they are struggling, so they pop out and buy a new car even though they cant afford to show everyone they have made it in there lives.
Being Proud
A lot of persons want to buy a new vehicle to show off, they love all the attention they get from having people look at them when they stop next to traffic lights or pull up in a busy area.
Speed
Some people love vehicles that go fast, they know that by buying a new car, it will ultimately fill there thirst for driving at fast speeds. New vehicles have a lot more pull and do 0-60 in much quicker times. Even diesel vehicles are quite nippy these days.
Relaxation
A lot of people just purchase a new car simply for the relaxation factor. This is especially true if people are travelling long ways on a regular basis. They want to relax and have all of the upto date technologies that are available.
Collectors
Some people are quite lucky to be well off, these people tend to have a habit of just buying new cars and collecting them, they usually end up sitting in the drive and then get sold off after a few years. But to the buyer it does not really matter as they have the money to effectively feed their collection habit.
There is nothing wrong with purchasing a new car; alot of people look at new vehicles. But make sure that you have the right finances in place to actually afford the vehicle as if not you will probably end up getting yourself into a lot of debt and effectively the debt company may well take back the vehicle from you, leaving you with zilch.
