Efficient And Stylish Cars From Ford And Buick

June 12, 2011 by amabq · Leave a Comment

The rising cost of fuel is a grave matter. The high costs raises issues about the environment, our nation’s dependency on foreign oil and of course the economic repercussions. Many families are affected financially once the price per gallon is higher than $4.  Let’s take a look at two cars that are both stylish and functional while providing great mileage.

The Ford Fusion looks sleek and contemporary with a distinct grille for a stylish and pleasing aesthetic. Mileage is impressive at 41 mpg on the interstate and 36 mpg in the city. The Fusion hybrid utilizes the SmartGauge system which actually trains you to become a more efficient driver. There is a graphic display that corresponds to how well you are doing. Another cool feature is Ford’s Sync system which allows you to change your music and stereo settings, place phone calls and utilize the navigation system by using your voice.

The vehicle uses both an electric and a regular motor. The traditional engine consists of a 2.5 Liter V4 engine and the electric motor is powered by a 275 volt battery. Horsepower is pretty decent at 194 HP and this auto takes only nine seconds to go from zero to sixty. The Fusion’s interior is well designed and offers roomy seating for all occupants.  The only minus is the trunk which is a tad on the small side at 11.8 cubic feet. St Charles Ford offers great deals on Ford cars in St Louis and Festus MO.

The next auto might surprise some folks but it’s the Buick LaCrosse with eAssist.  Mileage is around 37 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg in the city. The LaCrosse is not officially labeled a “hybrid” but it will utilize a few of the mechanisms and function as the majority of hybrid cars. It’s more like a “mild hybrid”; almost there but not quite.  Power is sent to the engine to recharge it when the driver brakes. Most hybrids are compact and small but the LaCrosse offers tons of room. Another cool feature is the ambient blue lighting which is truly gorgeos in the dark.  The rich leather seats are comfortable and easy to sink into plus they are adjustable.  Buick Dealer St Louis offers great deals on the Lacrosse in St Louis.

A large number of sweet options have been included such as an AC system, a steering wheel wrapped in leather and satellite radio. There are three different models to choose from; the CXS, CXL and the base CX. The CXS comes with an eleven speaker sound system, USB compatibility (so you can plug in your music player), ventilated seats and Rear Parking Assist. MSRP starts at around the $27k mark and will increase depending on the options and packages selected.  Used Cars St Louis dealer Dave Sinclair offers great prices on used Ford, Lincoln, GMC and Buick in Missori.

Used Cars And How You Can Try To Get A Buyer To Pay More

May 5, 2011 by amabq · Leave a Comment

Wanting to get the most that you possibly can when it comes to selling your used car is understandable. You may have paid a small fortune when you bought your car originally and the depreciation can be a bit frustrating. You could find that the amount of money that you are offered is insultingly low unless you are a bit careful when selling your old car. Most buyers are trying to pay as little as possible for a used car and this is something that most of them manage to do. Here are a few tips for how to get the buyer to pay more for your used car.

- A buyer will be more impressed if your car looks like it is in good condition so make sure it looks immaculate. A used car in good condition shows that you are someone who is sensible and took care of his or her car. By trying to sell a car that is in bad condition, you will be just coming across as an amateur. You will be offered lower than your asking price if the car looks a mess.

- Making sure you don’t appear too keen to sell the car is a good thing. You want to give the opinion that you are hesitant to sell the car because it will be like saying goodbye to a friend. It is important that you can provide a very good reason for wanting to get rid of the car. An example of such a reason is that you have bought something new and just can’t afford to keep two cars.

- Give the impression that you have other interested parties. Let a buyer walk away if they try to get the price down too much. There are other buyer’s out there so always make a point of bargaining hard and not being afraid of losing this particular buyer. The demand for used cars is very high at the moment so it shouldn’t be too hard for you to find another buyer.

As soon as you consider you’re ready to look out for used cars for sale, you might find yourself significantly better off by methodically researching the automobiles which appeal to your interest. This analysis allow you to get the best autos available for each group you look at. If you are looking for the very best, why not have a look at cars for sale Norfolk.

Audi TT Roadster Or Ford Focus RS

July 12, 2010 by amabq · Leave a Comment

I have waited almost a year to write this review and I am glad I have finally written one. Since November 2009 I have been driving new Audi (Audi TT Roadster), the new ford focus RS and few other powerful used cars. The biggest factors of these cars are SPEED and the LOOK. Audi TT Roadster is a second generation car. Ford Focus RS MARK 1 is only available in 21 countries in Europe as it was a limited production. Its Mark 2 version is still in production.

The whole purpose of my test drive was because I am interested in purchasing one of these two cars. Audi and the Ford were awesome to drive but I am still not sure which one to buy, if I had the money I would have gone for both but I don’t so I need to decide. Both cars have speed, power and gives awesome performance and are very reliable. I just had one test drive so won’t be able to tell you how economical the cars are. German cars are known to be more reliable than any other cars but Ford Focus RS’s parts are all made in Germany so I am sure they must be reliable. Most people still have concern whether or not to buy a ford but past few years Ford has built some wonderful car and the RS is certainly one of them.

My brother and I decided to have a race one quiet Sunday evening. We are glad we came home alive because these cars were absolutely rapid. This machines have tremendous power and the handling is just superb. We really enjoyed both of these cars and we are planning to hire these cars when we visit Germany next month for work purpose. Germany also has a no speed limit motorway where we can fully test these machines. We will let you know the results of the testing as soon as we get back to England.

How the Car Industry Can Save Themselves

March 27, 2009 by amabq · Leave a Comment

We all know the car industry is suffering a lot. Although used cars are still widely being accepting, dealers are having trouble ridding of the new cars. The whole industry just blames it on the credit crunch and believes a bailout is the right option and will rejuvenate a failing market. But can this all be true? Or is there a lot more info lying behind the lights.

Well something needs to be performed about the collapsing market and I can tell you that it is not a government fund. Quickly viewing in your mind, Does it really cost manufacturers huge sums of dollars to create a vehicle. Rumours state that vehicles are manufactured in just over 24 hours from beginning to finish and cost around $1000 for each car, which most obviously ends up selling for a profit of up to 90%.

Is this not the apparent reason as to why the niche is suffering, because they are over pricing? Ok do not see me in a negative light to design a new vehicle and promote the new vehicle must cost slightly more. But when it comes to bulk manufacturing, these vehicles are just getting created and sold. The creators were trying to get alot of profit by charging an arm and a leg and this is why more pricey businesses are struggling, like the BMW.

This is why the budget vehicles are not struggling at all. They supply great quality vehicles which are still making them a profit, although sold at a low rate. I have been in a Ford that feels exactly the same if not better than the more expensive brands of vehicles.

Why is it so Important to Have a New Car?

January 10, 2009 by amabq · Leave a Comment

We are in the midst of a full blown credit crunch, yet people are still wanting to have the most extravagant new cars under there belts. No matter how poor people are they still love to splash out on a new vehicle.

Let’s have a look at a few reasons why people love cars so much and why they have to make themselves struggle to drive in luxury.

Social Pressure
This is probably one of the main reasons why people are buying brand new cars. What is worse than going out in an old banger and then seeing your friends or a family member driving a top of the range vehicle. People do not want other people to see that they are struggling, so they pop out and buy a new car even though they cant afford to show everyone they have made it in there lives.

Being Proud
A lot of persons want to buy a new vehicle to show off, they love all the attention they get from having people look at them when they stop next to traffic lights or pull up in a busy area.

Speed
Some people love vehicles that go fast, they know that by buying a new car, it will ultimately fill there thirst for driving at fast speeds. New vehicles have a lot more pull and do 0-60 in much quicker times. Even diesel vehicles are quite nippy these days.

Relaxation
A lot of people just purchase a new car simply for the relaxation factor. This is especially true if people are travelling long ways on a regular basis. They want to relax and have all of the upto date technologies that are available.

Collectors
Some people are quite lucky to be well off, these people tend to have a habit of just buying new cars and collecting them, they usually end up sitting in the drive and then get sold off after a few years. But to the buyer it does not really matter as they have the money to effectively feed their collection habit.

There is nothing wrong with purchasing a new car; alot of people look at new vehicles. But make sure that you have the right finances in place to actually afford the vehicle as if not you will probably end up getting yourself into a lot of debt and effectively the debt company may well take back the vehicle from you, leaving you with zilch.
